that happened when I was very young and insecure. I think the better word is envious. It's not that you want the exact same person she's going out with (or maybe you do) but that you want to be in that same situation of being with someone for yourself. Maturity tends to solve that problem when, hopefully, you discover that what happens to other people need not make you feel like your own life isn't full as well, even if it looks different.

I know what you are going through. Even though I was never jealous. I was never jealous beacuse since they were a good friend I would be happy for them.I would turn it around and also become friends withmy friends new friend. Please do not be jealous. yes, because i wouldnt feel as loved when they are hanging out with the other person all the time... happened to me
my girlfriend met a new best female friend, and they became even closer than me and my girlfriend.... we broke up a few weeks later and she admited to me for having romantic feelings with her new best friend
