I've done a lot of online dating and I have found that spending time with someone online and spending time with someone in person is very different. I've met countless guys who I clicked with very well online but when it came to dating the chemistry just wasn't there. People just come across differently online than they do in the real world. You can kinda of get to know someone online but you don't "really" know them until you've experienced them in person.
Now that's not to disregard that love at first site might exist or that love at first site may occasionally happen. I have had experiences where I've seen a photo of someone, chatted with them and known I liked them and had the first date which only confirmed my notions 100%. It can happen. I'd just be wary of your feelings because it's a mouse, a keyboard, and a screen, it's not the real person and you may realize they are very different once you really get to know them offline after a few more meetings. Just be careful as you heart is a very delicate thing ;)

Would want you to define what you think LOVE is. Usually this computer meeting feelings are from a much different category. You say you have only "met" him once. That usually means in person. Not electronically. And love at first sight is a 1 in a million chance. You haven't given any ages. Very important for a valid answer

No. But You can have a deep longing to be with this person that seems to meet all the criteria that exemplifies him as the man of your dreams. be careful go slow and arrange to see him a few more times if this is for real you will find out soon enough. A lot of people pretend to be in love with you til they sleep with you and then you are left with only the souvenirs of your tears and a broken heart to remind you of them./

I don't think so! Love comes from way deeper than a modem and one date. I think to be truly in love you need to be really good friends first!

I think it's easy to get infatuated because in a way it's a very old fashioned courtship with words.
