Primarily, with my right hand, but I lean a little with my left elbow on the armrest of the door and hook my left thumb over one of the spokes of the steering wheel with my fingers touching the wheel lightly. If it's a long drive, I'll put my right elbow on the center armrest and do the same thing as I do with the left hand.

More right than left. Imagine the steerwheel in front of me divided in four, I place my right hand in the upper left quarter and my left hand in the middle of the right side of the wheel. That provides me better control of the car.
