Depends on your job. Will it cause a health & safety risk? Will your jewelry get caught on stuff, rip your finger, or get lost? Better safe than sorry, no jewelry.
If you have no safety issues, then go ahead! Just make sure it's not flashier than your boss's, and don't wear something to work that is delicate and might break easily. You don't want to lose it there.
But sure, go ahead! I always wear earrings and rings, and necklaces in the summer when I'm not wearing turtle-neck sweaters to keep warm. Have fun!

I wear minimal makeup to work. If I'm going straight to dinner or something afterwards, I'll take my make up to the bathroom and put on more after I leave the office. The jewelry depends. I always wear my wedding band, but everything else depends on the outfit and how much time I have in the mornings!

It depends on the job. In my first job, as a sales associate in retail, I did. I was dealing with the public, so I always wore make-up and my jewelry matched my outfit (i.e. black pearls with a black dress). In my second job, I wasn't dealing with the public, so I only wore make-up when we had visitors or I felt like it. I still wore jewelry, but didn't make such an effort to match it to my outfit. I'm now in my third job, back in retail, but I'm there at 6 in the morning doing stock work, so no make-up and only the jewelry I wear all the time. When I get my next job, I expect it to be a professional one (where I'm using my degree), so I'll probably wear make-up and jewelry more because appearances matter.

I work with electronics and machinery. Jewelry is considered a hazard. Married folks can either wrap their wedding ring with electrical tape or put it in their wallet. Very few of us wear makeup. Wearing makeup makes the other engineers think your IQ has dropped about 75 points. Depends on the job your in as to whether or not jewelry and makeup is appropriate.

I'm a waitress, and I've discovered that the more effort I put into my appearance, the better tips I get! It's superficial, but it is true.
I also work part-time at a financial advisor's office and I've found that wearing natural-looking makeup (usually a little mascara, blush, and lipgloss) makes me feel more confident, which is important when dealing with clients.

depends what job i'm doing.. if i'm cleaning i don't bother with either unless i've got some makeup on already, but if i'm waitressing i make a bit more of an effort, a nice necklace or something and a bit of makeup. it really all depends on how you feel about yourself. if you feel better wearing some then wear it if you feel great without any then don't feel the need to put any on. simple.

I know a lot who do wear makeup but as for jewlery its always either small earrings or a ring etc. never more then one piece depending on where you work. I dont wear makeup but if you do keep it simple with primer foundation and blush.

I wear make up and jewelry for myself 1st and presentation to others 2nd. I don't leave home without both. I feel better if I have make up and jewelry on. Both of these also make you look professional, if you also dress that way.
