Very possible but not likely. We normally contribute to a situation, with good intentions to help and not hinder. Unless we were ignorant (bliss) and not aware of our surroundings to be able to see that we are detracting instead of helping.

depends what you are contributing. i suppose our conscience will make that decision. depends on how aware one is when the situation is detracting.

Yes it is, see yourself from others point of view. Learn to love yourself. Become spiritually mature by asking to be (this may take a lifetime) and remember to follow the rules of do unto others,everything in moderation and there is a time for everything.
