I do not have a name or any idea where this man lives. I danced with him at an event held in Nashville in 1999. I cannot remember his name. He attended the event with his daughter and her husband. I do not know their names or where they were from. The only thing I have is a picture of the two of us together. Where would I even begin, or is it hopeless?

I know he did not live in Nashville and neither do I. I do not know if his daughter did or not; it seems to me she did not.
The event was FanFair and there is no one company I could contact to try and find him.
Supposedly, you are only seven people away from knowing everybody. I am looking for the man who is a great dancer (he took lessons), he was a widower and attended FanFair in 1999. We danced only to slow songs at Wild Horse Saloon. He swept me off my feet.

I'm going to guess and say that it is pretty much hopeless after all of this time.
The odds of you posting a picture of them on the internet and someone recognizing them is almost nil.

I wish you the best of luck and hope that I am wrong and you find your dance partner.

You could put out an ad in the classifieds in Nashville, so that if he lives there he may see it. If he was a good dancer, you might even want to go to dancing classes in the area (I am assuming you live there).

Whatever you do your best efforts would be spent searching in the area around where you met, unless you know for sure that he and his daughter were from out of town.

You could show the picture to other people who attended the event, or the organizers of the event, and ask if they know him.

Oh Lordy, Fan Fair. I was imagining a country club dance or something.

put an advert in local/national paper or stick some posters up. but it's been 7 years and he may even be in a loving relationship so if it's love you are after (for xmas does this to people)then tread carefully. be ready to be dissapointed.
