who gave angel thumbs down? she is correct: michelle is Chinese, yul is Korean. also, michelle's last name is spelled differently.

btw.. most of the american names (such as smith, brown, etc) were made up when they came and lived in America... so it's not even a "true" last name! as for koreans, yes most of their last names are Similar to chinese culture because a lot of their culture was based from original chinese characters.... but most likely they are NOT related whatsoever. even two Kwon's that are KOREAN may not be related

First of all, sweetheart, it's Michelle K-W-A-N.
Second, she's Chinese, Yul is Korean.
Third, just because they are Asians and their
names sound similar doesn't make them related!
Does that mean that every American whose last
name is Smith, Johnson, Robertson, Adams, etc.
are necessarily related? Think for a minute.
