For a human being to live it is necessary to forget. As important as remembering is, it is vital that we forget almost everything. Our brains haven't evolved enough for us to be able to continually process all that has happened throughout our lives. It is mostly those events with a significant emotional effect that we remember. Think about it, what was the first thought you had as a child? .... When you made love for the 16th time? What was the 5th to last car you saw? We are designed to forget - inorder to survive.

It's more necessary 2REMEMBER, because remembered pain, misery, and adversity keeps us from repeating harmful and or destructive choices. There are a few exceptions and one of them is childbirth, because if a new mother couldn't forget the amount of pain she endured while giving birth she would never have another baby. On a much deeper level if we could remember why we are here, and what we're suppose to be doing we wouldn't have so much pain, misery, and adversity in the first place. Good question.

To remember. Remember the bad things and good things. Carry it along with oneself, tell it to others, learn from your mistake, gain wisdom, knowledge, have memories to hold on to in the bad times, write stories, make empathy...etc...
To forget is like, running away. D:

without effort i forget, not deliberately, it happens. sometimes i wonder why my sister will reminisce about something that i had totally no recall.why? i dont know. maybe i'll ask that question. anyway, the clue is clearly in the word "necessary" . in that moment when we should remember or forget, let us ask ourselves first: which is more necessary?

To Remember. Regardless of the things that have happened in my life; good, bad, ugly, amazing etc... I would never want to forget one single thing.
It's easy to say that we want to forget the icky times in our lives or that one mean thing someone has said to us but, do we really want to forget? Don't situations like those shape our personalities? Because of those things... is why I react like this.
I never want to forget. Not one single thing.

Depends on the event in question. If it is a good thing, better to remember it and if it is a bad one, forget it!

2FORGET 4SURE....Remembering lays its grounds in the past but learning to forget or in other terms 'let go' allows a person to create a future free of ties to the past, allowing the person the opportunity to truly live in the present.

to remember is more important, even if it's something we don't weally enjoy remembering. What's important is how you feel with what you remember
