the sun doesnt really "rise" or "set". it has to do with the earth's rotation.

the sun is stable (not moving) in our solar system. it is the earth's rotation that makes us see the sun rises/sets.

the earth spins towards easy (or counter-clockwise from earth's top point-of-view).

see the source below to get an idea

The sun does no such thing. The earth rotates around so that it appears as if the sun is rising in the east. The sun doesn't really move relative to the earth. At least not in a noticeable time span.

this has to be a trick question...right?
yea it always rises in the east. I live in the east and it come up over the ocean. I went to California and was at the beach wanting for it to come up...it was getting brighter...no sun...they turned me around, and it was coming up over the buildings.
okay, a few beers might have been involved, but I really thought it would come up the same on both coasts.

It rises from the East because the Earth has a clock-wise rotation. We're spinning in an Easterly direction. If the Earth's rotation were to reverse, the sun would rise in the West.

The direction of the earth's rotation causes the sun to 'rise in the east.'

because the earth rotates that way. The sun is fixed in our solar system.
If you are looking down at the sun The earth rotates around the sun counter clockwise , and the actual globe of earth spins counter clockwise, thus it appears the sun "rises in the east"

Because saying the rhyme "rises in the East and sets in the West" sounds better than saying West to East

The direction of the earth's rotation causes the sun to 'rise in the east. You would've knew that if you paid attention in science class.

The sun doesn't "rise",it is the Earth's axis,it is rotating to the east.

Because that is the way the earth is rotating. If it was rotating the opposite way, the sun would rise in the west.
