i love hearing people's opinions. so lets pretend: you get to make the big descisions of how to secure our borders - how would you do it?

I would have 25 ft walls along the border and have the military guard the border and waters. As for the Canadian's comment about shooting Americans when they cross the border... pay attention to what your own government is doing. America has tried to be harsher on the borders there and your country opposed because of economical effects.

After 9/11 borders are far safer as no country will now dare to attack its neighbors. Democratic reforms may make the world safer but it is very tough job. We should make the United Nations more effective for stability and world peace.

1. Make a huge ELECTRIC fence and concrete wall
2. Anyone who manages 2 get over the fence and is caught is sent to Antartica....
3. Put security guards on the fence and shoot anyone jumping over the wall (when u shoot them shoot them in the leg or arm not the body)
the threat of being sent to antartica should stop them from coming tho.......

well im canadian, and i think we r the biggest push overs there is! i think we need 2 stop listening 2 USA and britian, and stop take'n there ****! the 1st thing i'd do is build up our army, put them at our borders, then tell every freak'n american that tried 2 come in 2 stay out! they would need passports and if they dissagreed! shoot em! just like the americans do! we need strickter laws and a bigger army! and 1st off a mind of our own!!!!!!!!!!!

lets have army patrols in humbees drive up and down our borders, and shoot anything that comes across.

10 ft of razor wire 10 ft high move back 10 ft same thing another 10 ft same thing 5 ft from last bunch of wire put signs in spanish turn back or you will be shot, if they step 1 ft towards usa shoot em dead.

put up electric fences 30 feet high. Any thing that touchs it...light on fire theres so much electricity.
