My mom accidentaly sent an email to someone and my dad said there's a way to recall an email like it was never sent. He's done it before when he used to work at his work. I've never heard anything like that. I mean once an email is sent, it's sent and there's nothing that can be done. Please write back. Thanks.

In general, it is not possible. However, I seem to recall that AOL allows you to "unsend" a message you sent to another AOL user. Your father's office probably had a LAN-based e-mail system that did something similar. But for Internet e-mail in general -- no way. Your mother's best bet would be to follow up with a message explaining the mistake.

How to Recall an E-mail in Microsoft Outlook

If you and your recipient are using Microsoft Outlook 97 or later, there's still a chance you can recall that message.
Instructions
STEP 1: Go to the Sent Items folder in Outlook and open the message you want to recall.
STEP 2: Click on Recall This Message in the Tools menu.
STEP 3: If your message hasn't already been opened by the recipient, either delete the message or replace it with a new message.
STEP 4: If there are multiple recipients, you can request notification of whether the recall succeeded or failed for each one (at least you'll know whom to apologize to). Even if you successfully recall a message, the recipient may still know that you sent a message and then recalled it. So if you didn't replace it with a corrected message, you'll need to get your story straight as to why you recalled it.

go to your sent box and highlight the email in question. You should be able to right click it and it will bring up a delete box. Just delete it from all boxes and your problem is solved.

there is absolutely no way to recall an email unless you go on the other person's email address and delete it yourself.

NO way it can called back, it may be delivered by the time you reach from the keyboard to the mouse.
