88 km = 88000 m and 1 hr = 60 min = (60)(60) sec = 3600 sec, so 88 km/hr = 88000/3600 m/sec = 24.4 m/sec. Then in 0.2 seconds the car travels (24.4)(.2) meters = 4.88 meters

Change that 88 km/hour in to .02 km/sec. I just took 88 and divided it by sixty twice. (Another way is to divide 88 by 3600, which is 60 times 60)

See, when I divide by sixty the first time, I'm dividing the hour by sixty as well. Therefore, it becomes a minute. If I do that again, The minites divides into a second.

This makes the question all the easier. If .02 km is in one second, and the driver goes for 2 seconds, you take .02 and multiplty that by 2. (2 representing the 2 seconds). your final answer is .04 km.

=88 km = 88000 m
= 1 hr = 60 min
= (60)(60) sec = 3600 sec
so 88 km/hr = 88000/3600 m/sec
= 24.4 m/sec.
So in 0.2 seconds the car travels
(24.4)(.2) meters = 4.88 meters
4.88 meters 4.88 meters 4.88 meters 4.88 meters

THE ANSWER IS ===========>
4.88 meters 4.88 meters 4.88 meters 4.88 meters

I think this has something to do with momentum and velocity. Try looking at the formulae for those and see what you can come up with.
