because moister in the air makes things mold, combined with dark warm places.

Sodas and juices will mold too. Just leave one out and in a few days it will have mold. Moisture and air create mold. Mold will grow on anything, Wood, cement ,coffee.

in order for mold to grow there needs to be moisture because all living things need water... so if there is water or a liquid made from water.. then mold can grow
