Why don't you get him something that he and his wife can enjoy...like a mini-vacation, or dinner at a nice restraunt on you.
If that isn't really his thing, get him sporting tickets. Almost every guy I know loves something like that!

Sorry--but if he has everything, & is "...sick of gift cards..." (that people are probably sending him, thoughtfully, because he "has everything"), I wouldn't give him anything at all. He sounds a tad on the spoiled side. I simply wouldn't enable him to be such a brat. If he has everything, & is sick of the gift cards, wouldn't his response be interesting if he got nothing from you at all? I think it would be a WONDERFUL shock to his system. Save your thoughtfulness for someone who appreciates it. On second
thought, make a donation to some organization in his name. THAT should get to him.
Edit: SHOOT! I never look at the answers first, & honeybun got there before me! See--it doesn't take a psychologist to be WISE & have common sense!

why don't you try making him something like a ceramic bird or a photo that you took and framed nicely. Or you could make a CD of his favorite songs or something that he can actually use, like loose leaf tea.
These gifts might sound off the wall, but the point is to be unique and think about what he would want. If he has it already, then he'll have two. good luck.

Try making him a gift basket. You could put in it his favorite cologne, aftershave, gourmet candies, a bottle of his favorite wine, and some tickets to a movie, play, concert, or his favorite sporting event. or you could write a beautiful poem about how much you love him, and if you go to a graphic design place, they will copy it on nice thick soft colored paper with any type of font you'd like and you could frame it. That's something unique and to be cherished for a life time. Good Luck on your search for that perfect gift.

Do you know what he's in to? There are tons of specialty gifts you can give for those that have "everything". If he's into cooking there are tons of uncommon gadgets. Same thing for golfers, car enthusiasts, woodworkers, outdoorsmen, etc. Once you narrow down what he's most in to, web search it and you'll be amazed at all of the things he really doesn't have (yet) :)

Christmas is for little kids. The real gift is you have someone who wants to share a holiday with you.

Hmm....I think something that's handmade is always the best, cause it's special and it bears a warm and sincere thought to the gift, ....like some handmade mittens or neck scarf....or simply bake a cake for him ( with a choice of his favourite flavour)

Ask his wife what he needs or wants. Or if you know he likes a particular kind of clothing, cologne, alcohol, try to find something special in his likes.
