i tried it and it worked :) after about 2-3 glasses.

apparently wikipedia believes masturbation kills off hangovers, i would be a small bit reluctant to do that and would prefer to go for the rehydration option.

The best solution to help avoid a hangover in the morning is to drink 8 to 10 ounces of water, or more prior to going to sleep. Alcohol will dehydrate you and when this happens the brain also gets dehydrated and that is where you get the hangover. Drinking lots of water prior to sleeping, helps keep you hydrated thus lessens the effect of hangover.

The trick is, you should drink 2 panadols/ paracetamol/ aspirin about 30 mins to an hour before drinking.... you wont feel the hangover at all!!! You will however feel thirsty, coke would be a good option or anything that contains caffeine. You can start drinking water later on during the day.

Anyway, works for me... water is good in a way coz it makes your stomach so heavy you're induced to puke.

Yes water would def. be the best for a hangover because the reason for feeling a hangover is because you are dehydrated. I wouldn't take any medicine like tylenol before bed if I were you...I did that before and threw up because alcohol and tylenol don't go good together.

I guess the thought of blood rushing thru your body and your brain will help ward off hangovers. Personally..sounds like a good option to try to me.

But yes..water will help, as will taking a couple of apsrins..plus, laying down and taking a few snoozes thru-out the day helps too.

Lots of water definitely helps. I also found greasy food helped to settle my stomach - so I'd have bacon in the morning. Thank goodness it's not something I do often! I know I'm not the only one who this works for - in Ottawa and Hull (Quebec) everyone goes for poutine after drinking (fries with cheese and gravy if you're not familiar).

Alcohol causes dehydration. If you drink water while you are drinking, you lessen the chance of getting a hangover. As far as the other, well, I guess if it floats your boat, go for it.

Ummm...water works for me. When my head is killing me I am not really in any mood.....

Greasy breakfasts do the trick too. Germans swear by sauerkraut - cabbage is supposed to help.

I would go with plenty of water and a tylenol before going to bed.
