is there any way to know if my betta is a boy or girl?

Male- Long Fins
Female- Short Fins

Males have brighter, deeper colors, and they are also larger than the females. But behavior is very telling as well; male bettas blow bubble nests at the top of the tank when they are fertile. ONLY male bettas do this; it is a guarantee of gender.

males have long fins and females are smaller without the long fancy fins.. they are agressive too.. i had a female once and she killed the male.. it sucked

Yep, if it has LOOONNNGGGGG flowing fins, its a male. if it has short fins, its a female.
