In my opinion..the spirit is what makes us alive..the way we breathe..it will go back to God who gave it when we die. I do believe the soul and the conscious are the same thing, they stay in our body when we die and will rest or be in torment until judgment day!
By the way..your picture looks like a Star Trek character!

spirit and soul are the same, the essence of god that gives us life.

Consciousness is the understanding/awareness of our divine essence, our divine being.

Only birth in the human body gives us an opportunity, an inquisitive mind to commence the journey back to our creator.

Animals and most humans just enjoy (not really enjoyment) being what they are and where they are. The inquisitive mind of
human is the opportunity to experience true consciousness or to become one with our maker. God is love and the way back to God is love.

Hope this is clear and helps. Good luck. You ask good questions. You have placed a step on the path to enlightenment.

I believe that they are different. Someone's spirit lives on long after their soul and consciousness are gone. It lives in other people's hearts and minds. Consciousness is awareness of the world around us. The soul is the essence of our personality.

The brain is the spirt, soul and consciousness of a person. It is the personality that makes the person who they are. We as people have compassion and knewlegde of our surroundings. For example, we see animals as the same, but they see us the same too.
