not always, if someone else gave an excellent answer and mine is only mediocre, I vote for them. I have done it several times. And I don't always go in and vote for my own, especially if there are like 36 answers and I know mine was mediocre. Only the ones I think I should get, if the asker was too lazy or forgot to pick.
I have gotten a few best answers with my one vote as 100%. It kinda feels like cheating in a way, even though I know it's "legal".

Nope, I don't care about the points. I'll vote for the best one I am able to read.
Which is why I don't vote that much, because I don't manage to read all the answers.
