To extrapolate, there will be no peace on earth until there is peace in your own heart. As the saying goes, "Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me." As a suitable starting point, take the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew chapters 5 - 7). Read each verse and do what it says. The only way to have peace on Earth would be to eliminate all human beings!..But even then, you wouldn't have complete peace because animals, like humans, are territorial and fight among themselves too. So you see. peace on Earth isn't possible until you get rid of all life on Earth! There! Are you happy now!

That's probably not going to happen, but you can always achieve a bit of peace through kind, generous actions.
Treat others the way you would want them to treat you.

it won't happen until after the second advent of Christ. As long as sin reigns in man, there will be conflict. Peace is contrary to human nature. Humanity is filled with egos, thirst for power, and corruption. As long as those factors exist, there will not be peace.

HA! If that were possible, wouldn't it have been done a long time ago?
Peace will come eventually, when Christ comes down for His 1,000-year reign! Will you be ready for that if He comes in your lifetime?
