I like to hunt and I have liberal tendencies. I am against the war in Iraq because I felt we did not take the time to understand Iraqi culture, how 20% of the people favor islamic terror and that makes winning impossible apart from God fixing it. I am an enviromentalist and recycle, use expensive organic fertilizer on my lawn to create better ground humus and protect ground water. I think traditional archetecture is wasteful as so much heat is lost and I hope to build a house with passive solar and a dome shape. I am a vegetarian except for birds I shoot when out hunting. I give lots of money to the poor around the world. But I do lot to hunt a great deal. Does all qualify to be liberal?

In my culture, hunting is a traditional activity, and I've known many liberal people who hunt in that context. I have noticed non-Native hunters are usually more conservative though. They also hunt for trophies more often, whereas that's frowned upon with us.

To go the other direction, I am a conservative, and I don't like to hunt.

One of my old hunting partners was way liberal. Dont hunt with him much anymore though, cant stand listening to him and his liberal ideas...drives me nuts andchases the deer away.

I also imagine those who stay in rural elements are taught a thanks to attend to a gun and are to blame gun vendors.
