You might want to try affiliate programs. These programs will give you a commission on any item sold through your links (or, will pay your for people who sign up for their program or whatever). You could set up a mall, or a price comparison site, or a blog where you review products, etc.
You can do it for free. There are sme webhosts which will let you make a page and add commercial content free (like bravepages) but they ad their own ads, and I haven't found ones wihout annoying pop-ups. Its better to pay for webservice, which can run anywhere from $5 a month to $20 a month (you might want to start with a cheeper service, but do shop around and research to make sure you get one with good customer service and low down time). If you don't know HTML you might want to find one which offers a free web design tool (learning HTML and/or CSS is a good idea though).
Here are some affiliate sites I've participated with (I haven't made much on any but the surveys, mainly because I was just adding links on my other content sites, which doesn't lead to much sales in my experience):
If you're doing reviews, you'll want something you're familiar with. Visit the sites you use, and see which ones have affiliate programs (there will often be an "affiliates." or associates link at the bottom).
Here's a few I've used:
Book Sellers
Amazon.com (low commission, but people trust them and they have nice tools).
ChristianBooks.com
Posters
AllPosters.com
Gifts
CafePress.com
(I also sell things through there--my off-cafe shop is at
http://galesgifts.windhavenweb.com...but all the links go right back to CafePress. They have a very supportive community. )
Surveys
I put up a site reviewing free rewarded survey sites I've participated in. I tell in the reviews whether they have affiliate programs:
http://www.windhavenweb.com/surveys
Alumni Finders
www.alumni.net
www.gradfinder.com
www.classmates.com (I haven't participated with this one, but I believe they have a program)

I like “BuyMyNoni.com”, it has worked for me and signing up to start is free.
If you have a general interest in other people and are willing to sell on a personal level, then I think you might like this opportunity. This is the best legitimate home business I have seen and you can read more information at http://www.buymynoni.com
I recommend you look at their Web site to see how it works and if it fits your needs. The business involves selling a tropical medicinal fruit juice from Hawaii and has been used by the Pacific Islanders for the past 2,000 years. Noni juice is part of the functional health juice industry that is already a reached over $1 billion dollars in annual sales and is projected to continue to grow.
The reason why this is business opportunity is because it caters to a growing segment of this countries population called the “Baby Boomers” who are aging and looking for health and wellness products to make them feel better and keep them healthy. The Noni industry is a multi-million dollar industry and more and more people are becoming aware of Noni juice and its healthful benefits. So there is definitely a growing market for the product.
I like this home business opportunity because:
1) It is free to join with no hidden costs,
2) It is not Multi-Level Marketing (MLM),
3) It is a consumable functional health fruit juice that helps people,
4) I can work the business at my own pace when and where I choose
5) The business has a good commission plan that is easy to understand and the company pays on time.
It does take work and self-motivation on your part to be successful at the business. Visit their site and read how the business works and I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the business model and the free web site they give you without you having to spend a dime to join.
Give them a call if you have questions 800.219.0288

I know of something that you can do on the computer to make money, doesn't require any fees either upfront or at any time, and you don't even have to leave the house. Your only investment is time, and only a little bit of it a week!
And no, it's not CashCrate, Treasure Trooper, any PayPal chain mail schemes, or any survey nonsense. It's global, too! And no spam or viruses will fill your mailbox!
I can even help you with links to promote it for free!
If you or anyone reading this is interested, please click on my ID and click on the email link or IM me if I'm online. I cannot go into details here or provide a URL link so as not to get in trouble with Yahoo or its TOS.
