yes it is true in America,starvation to death is very common in any place n any country irrespective of poor or rich country,but it is minority in US--very minimal.

While I have not seen any reports of starvation in America, the pain of hunger is undoubtedly suffered by countless hundreds of thousands everyday. The ranks of the middle class are slowly disappearing into the poverty level. I suspect that if the trend continues, we will undoubtedly see starvation here.

Unfortunately, yes. There are some people who don't want to, or know how to, ask for help for food even though they are going without... The U. S. is one of the most caring countries in the world, but services are only available to people who know how and when to ask for them.

Yes, every day... hundreds...maybe more...but often it is attributed to something else... people who do not have enough proper food get sick of other things and die because they are not strong enough to fight off illness...children and the elderly are ost often victis less reported... the Homless aso are ofcourse victims and they are the ones most assoociated with starvation... but it is the weakest. elderly and chldren who get ignored when it comes to people thinking of who is starving.
