Take the exponential of both sides and you can move the x out in front:

e^(2.5^x) = e^(4^-x)
x*e^(2.5) = -x*e^(4)

Then just solve for x

2.5^x = 4^-x
2.5^x = 1/4^x

Multiply both sides by 4^x

2.5^x(4^x) = 1

10^x = 1

You know that any number raised to the power of 0 is 1, so x must be 0.
