We have achieved the highest levels of intelligence, development, and technological easy life but then we still have lots of stresses. We do not enjoy life nowadays as before, everything is artificial, complex and needs lots of effort. I miss my childhood innocence living for simple needs. Why do we bother if we are going to die as all other animals die? why do people need to transmit their genes from generation to generation? Isn't it very primitive and animal like behaviour? What is the ultimate goal of life? please do not give answers as we should live to love or we should work for better humanity.

You create your own reason for living, it cannot be created for you. Some people have the standard "Make the world a better place" mindset. Others live to accumulate material goods. Some live for their children.

There is no such thing as a permanent existence. Everyone and everything dies or ends in some way. So questioning "Why bother if I am going to die?" doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Everyone and everything dies. What matters is what happens up until then. What kind of life do you lead (however short is must be).

What you have to do is figure out what you want to live for and focus your life on that.
