Perseus, actually I've travelled quite a lot. I noticed most people in the U.S. who are in favor of socialized medicine haven't.

It is wonderful. Maybe because the country they are from doesn't have the facility's available there.
Last time i heard ppl have gone to France and the UK for treatment.
Isn't a system where everyone has the chance of treatment and a fair chance of surviving better than one where only the rich can get treatment and if your to poor you might as well lie down and die?
i know id much prefer a system that supports everyone free health care is a good thing!

Would depend on the medical procedure required.If it was heart possibly the USA. Then again if it was brain possibly the UK. most western nations specialise in medicine.In fact the best sanitoriums in the world are in Switzerland.The reason world leaders go to other countries is to get the best treatment in the world.At thier citizens expence.Have you ever in your life been anywhere outside the USA.Till you've experienced how others live don't assume the world is less than the police state you live in

Because here in Kazakhstan we have best medical care in whole world. Is not socialized. Is market. Is better than USA. Thank you for pointing out that Kazakh medical care is the best!!!!!

Because Socialized medicine sucks!!! You can't see a doctor unless your on your death bed even then you would be lucky to see one.
It takes months and months to get an appointment. Everybody would get free care but who is going to be the doctors???
