In philosophy, there’s a hierarchy:
Metaphysics – what’s the nature of existence?
Epistemology – what’s the nature of knowledge?
Ethics – how should man live his life?
Politics – what’s the proper social system?
Esthetics – what is man’s perception of himself (art)?

Objectivism answers these in order, and comes up with capitalism as the proper political system.

Yes, but we humans don't have the answers to many of the questions raised in the above fields of knowledge, whereas we have seen over several centuries of political trial and error that Capitalism is the most efficient political system.

Due to our limited intelligence, we may never as a species answer many of the questions about the ordering of knowledge and existence, only about the ordering of our own societies (political systems like Capitalism), which is much more immediate and practical by its nature.

Metaphysics-Existence is objective-but its nature is subjective.
Just like knowledge, and the path one walks in life, all subjective.
Can you tell me a social, economic, educational or political system which could be objectively said to fill the needs for all existence?
From any time in recorded history?
Capitalism can't ever be. Not when the only objective truth in your thesis is existence. Everything else (including Capitolism and Socialism) can only appeal to, or provide for, some segment of a society. A subjective opinion.

I don't buy it. All we need is ethics & we can pick our political system. I think that capitalism is the best economic system we have, but I don't accept that you can proove that a priori.

Common ground.....

Instead of arguing liberal vs Conservative or Democrat vs Republican, why can't we find things we agree on ?

Instead of seeing things and saying why....how about seeing things and say why not.

Instead of categorizing a person based on skin color, sexual preference, income, religion, creed, or political slant, why not see the whole person.

Instead of saying I'm a member of the black race, the white race or the hispanic race, why not say I'm a member of the human race.
