As much as it pains me to say this...only if they get rid of Isiah Thomas and clean up the mess he made while in NY...his team is the highest paid team with no winning results..he has made a complete mess of that team....it pains me cause Isiah has always been one of my favorite players growing up...

Of course they will be good someday. They are a huge market team. Star players will always want to play in New York. Players get bonuses from their shoe deals when they go to a big market team. Isiah will be gone after this season, and maybe even sooner. They will be able to start fresh with a new GM and new coach. They will have to sit on all the bad contracts that Isiah created but in time they will be able to create respectable squad. Soon Marbury, Francis, Zeke, and Nate will be but a memory.
I for one would love to see the Knicks succeed, but not until they take out the garbage.

The knicks have a really young and good back court. They have David Lee, Channing Frye, Eddie Curry all guys who have the potential to be all star players. At small forward they have Richardson and Jeffries who are good defenders. However, the problem is the point guard position. A point guard is the general, the player who has the assits and allows his teamates to score easy buckets. The problem is Francis,Marbury and Robinson are short shooting guards and make bad decisions. They can't let the forwards reach their potential because they can't pass. A Chris Paul or a Jason Kidd, would put this team over the top.

Yes, They have a good shot at being a good team. They need to make some good pick-ups in the draft. Make some trades and possibly go after Iverson (highly doubted). Maybe make a coach change and they have a good shot of becoming a good team. They have a lot of work to do but it's possible

Nah they have tooo many star players that want the ball all the time. And a bad coach, if they want to become good they would have to lose either Marbury oir Francis and keep Crawford and Richardson then move some other people around to get a dominat player that can actually win them games.

Definitely, only if either Francis or MArbury gets shipped. seriously, you can't be a good team with two "high-egoed" ball huggin' guards. Frye, Balkman, Lee are making themselves known in the league (specially in Fantasy). In short, they are over talented with a excess guard. Ship one and get a dominating forward. And get rid of Allan Houston's disgusting deal.
