I doubt that they homeless and hungry like burned cookies any more than you do. I suggest you eat the burned ones and give the homeless and hungry the good ones. That would be doing a service.

If you wouldn't eat them., what makes you think the hungry or homeless would. Give me a break., if I couldn't eat them I sure wouldn't give them away, I'd throw them in the trash and try again. Make a new batch and don't burn them and give those to the hungry children that never get anything. And shame on you for thinking they eat burnt things. And "Happy Holidays" to you.

And just why do you think that a hungry or homeless person wants a burnt cookie?
How badly are they burnt? Would you eat them? If you would eat them, then perhaps you could donate them to someone. But if you wouldn't eat it, perhaps not.

The hungry and homeless deserve their dignity. It is appalling to think that some one would think that is an acceptable thing to do with burnt cookies.

neither, make some more and give half to the hungry and the other half the to the homeless. it's insulting to give them burnt cookies.

NO... that's mean. I know you don't want to waste them, but giving people something that you don't want to eat isn't very kind. Think about how they would feel, recieving a bunch of burnt cookies when their stomaches are aching with hunger for soft, chewy ones...
So, not very nice.

Turn your oven down 25 degrees and use a timer.

If they are not that badly urned, give them to the mission. thats where all of the homeless are.
