everytime i boot this computer on(not the 1 im on now)..it warms up, goes to the black screen wehre it like checks everything then all of a sudden a noise hits, the keyboard, monitor all go off, and finally when its done which is like 2 seconds later, the lights on the keyboard light up and the monitor turns back on. it repeats this everytime for ever. i tried everything cleaning it, re-check plugs, and turn outlet off. HELLLPPP!!

Can you start Windows in Safe mode? (press the F8 key while the PC is booting) - if so, try to update your virus scanner defs and run a full virus scan on the machine from Safe mode.
If this doesn't work, then you may have to reformat and start from scratch.

It sounds like one of two things happening, either the motherboard has shorted out or is on it's way too, or the memory may be bad or has jarred loose from the socket.. Good Luck

I can give you a link that deals with hard drive problems.
Some drive problems can be easily fixed by yourself using easily available tools. I found the info at http://fixit.in useful. Try this site, if you can get what is required.

Go into your bios. Your computer is probably set to "HALT ON ALL ERRORS" Set it to "Halt on keyboard errors" see if that works

Format the hard drive, if that did not fix it buy a new hard drive.
