Well, there are tons of articles that are current on the US and I suppose they would all qualify as "articles on the republic form of government in the US". I wonder if you need to be more specific?
The easiest thing would be to go to your library and look at a newspaper. There are articles in them everyday about the government and since the US govt is a republic (see the definition in the Wikipedia link below), anything should qualify. You can also go online, go to google, type your state's name (New York, for instance) newpapers in the search field hit enter. Then choose a good paper (from the capital or other big city are usually good options) and click on the links...
I really think you need to be more specific, though. I have a feeling no one really knew what you wanted... and I'm not sure I did! good luck!
