If your mouse has a ball you should try taking it out and cleaning it. don't just clean the ball itself though, the inside needs to be cleaned too, especially the little rollers that the ball turns in there. If you have an optical mouse (with the red light underneath) then that is a completely different problem. you might try wiping it off with a soft cloth and making sure that the surface you are using it on is smooth and clean. If that doesn't solve the problem, then try restarting your computer. If none of that works, then you may need to get a new mouse.

It's probably because the surface of the table you are moving your mouse on is dirty. The same thing happened to me before when I spilled some coffee on my computer table. I had to remove the ball and wipe it clean.

well if you spilled somthing (if you eat and drink by your pc) that coud have soaked something up. possiblly if you have a ball at the bottem that the mouse moves on take that out and clean it with a damp paper towel or wash cloth then put it back in

first youshould keep your mouse on a very clear plane, and then make sure the bottom of your mouse has no dirty thing and very clear, if still not worked very smoothly, maybe you should chage a new one, there maybe a good place to help you find a good mouse:http://www.ebest24.com

try to open the inner part of your mouse, because dirts causes malfunction of your mouse
