u have to know the problem to solve it: why is she depressed? Is it 'cause she have to spend a lot of money buying gifts to everyone but she doesn't want to spend a lot, is she bored 'cause she'll spend the Christmas with same ppl every year, or she is not in spirit for holidays 'cause nothing special or interesting happened to her?
Talk to her to find out the problem and have a wonderful evening.

Yes and I just play on here a lot and try to keep it off my mind problem is I have 5 grand-kids so I will have to participate some. maybe if she went to volunteer at a shelter or someplace there are many organizations that need help right now. my oldest daughter was killed 12/08/05 this is our 2nd Christmas without her so it is very hard God bless you and your sister

Sometimes, but I guess it depends on those around me. I like to get excited about Christmas, but if no one wants to really decorate or participate, then it's just alot of work for me and I don't like it at all. That makes it not fun. Might as well just skip it.

I was down earlier but now I'm feeling better. I think we always think back too much instead of looking forward to making new memories. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I get real depressed. When my Dad died I think he took some X-mas spirit with him. All I do is trudge through it.
