By "deprive an infact of food" I mean "punch someone in the face" and by "because you want to save up money for booze" I mean "because you see that certain someone being physically abusive to a child out in public."

You should be a little more direct with your questions. No it is not okay to punch someone in the face for being physically abusive to a child in public, unless the child's life is clearly at stake. However, you should definitely call the authorities and follow them until the cops get them. More violence only yields more violence.

If you mean someone you are in contact with does this, yes it would be quite nice to punch him or her in the face. But really if you see someone being physically abusive to a child in public, get help. Call police to stop it immediately and either they or you should call child protection.

Even though your actions may be out of good nature, the violence should probably be retained. Calling social services would be a better choice of action.
