Honesty is a relative term - one person's "truth" is not necessarily anyone else's. I think all professors share their version of the truth - it is up to the student to sift through material, critically analyze material, and draw their own conclusions - their own truth.

How do you define "most honest?"

It has been my own personal experience that American Universities provide an outstanding education. However, while they claim to promote and protect critical thought, most don't tolerate conservative viewpoints on issues. It could be that the majority of the faculty's formative academic years were spent during the the sixties and these years have stamped their viewpoints with an indelible liberal slant on the issues.

I imagine that Canadian universities are similar.
