America is a vast and varied country. You will be in the middle of th country in what we call the Midwest. Very fierce winters, so dress warmly! Cincinnati is the largest city in Ohio, and you could probably do a day trip to Chicago - I am not from the area, but trust me, there is a lot to see in our country! Have fun!

what state are you visiting? I recommend out west! So you say you are going to Ohio,go visit Paramounts Kings Island, it a big theme park, and there is also Sea World and Jack Hanna's zoo the Columbus Zoo! Its a great place to visit.Ohio is a beautiful state! Have fun!
So then don't go to the theme park!! sorry to have mentioned it!

You didn't say where in America you are coming. There is so much to see here but without knowing where you will be it is hard to tell you what to visit. I would suggest that you continue to use the internet. Look up the state and town where you are going. I would your friend will have places she will like to share with you because once you live here, you can't help but want to share your home. I hope you enjoy your vacation here.

so you're going to ohio in january....be sure and bundle up. bring a north face parka. ohio has the best amusement park in the world, cedar point, but it's closed until may. i suggest a road trip either south to nashville to visit graceland, or west to chicago. if you want to ski, go north to michigan.

Oh well if you are going to the west coast i would say somewhere like San Diego or Santa Barbra. If the east coast like D.C. or New York. You could also check out Boston or somewhere like Montana. Those all have really cool things to see.
