With games aside, the PS3 is better from a technological standpoint. It has a stronger processor with more cores than the 360. It also has built-in BluRay, where 360 has a separate HD-DVD player that you have to by. 360 has only VGA output, where PS3 has HDMI output. The downfall of PS3 is it costs $200 more than the 360.
As for games, which one do you like more Halo or Grand Turismo?

the 360 probably has more games out right now and costs less
the ps3 has better graphics and uses bluetooth
I would choose the ps3 if I was loaded with money and had HDTV, and get the 360 if i was on more of a budget and didn't have and hdtv.. hope this clears that up

360 is better. Same everything that PS3 offers, for a couple hundred less. And you get a great line up of games, bundles, and not-bugged systems. Also, you can probably find one on the shelves this christmas.

Right now, and xbox 360 is because it has a great selection of games, costs less money, and won't explode if you buy it. If you're waiting for the long term, you might want to wait to find out, because there will be more games and less problems. I would still go with the three six zero

360 is better they are basically the same machine but the xbox is $200 less and actually works. about 50% of the ps3 sold so far have been defective.

dude an XBOX 360 the ps3 has some MAJOR glitches with like everything. They say that its like flawless well its not XBOX 360.. it may have less memory but its a better waste of your money lolol

ps3 the games are in blueray which means huge games + the graphics on the ps3 blows the xbox 360 away easlly

360 has better games at the moment, but ps3 has blu-ray, SIXAXIS controller, full internet browsing, and way more power behind it. it just depends on what you are going to use it for

i personally would get the xbox because the playstation 3 is alot of money and not even worth it. xbox the better concole for your money. plus playstation will drop in price too in like 3 months.
