A wheel is a wheel whichever way you look at it. It doesn't have a front or back......... the same as a ball does not have sides, top nor bottom.

Steering wheels are weird, the back faces the front of the car but some forklifts and some lorries and buses have a horizontal wheel with a top and bottom but no front or rear, so why did the protocol or anticlockwise to go left and clockwise to go right come from, is it an EU regulation or can i theif proof my car by fitting a left hanfd drive rack upside down and reversing the steering direction, perhaps SMERSH did tht to doanas Merc, I will ask.

Ok if you put it facing up of course you can see the front but when you are driving you are BEHIND it in relation to the direction of normal travel ie: it precedes you as you move forward therefore you are behind it.
And if any one starts talking about reversing I'll bl*&*y scream!!!!!

Its like saying "is the heads side of a coin on the front or the back"
it's whichever you want it to be.
