Nipple piercing is technically a minor surgical procedure and, as such, subject to certain problems related to excessive bleeding, disfigurement, infection, etc. Doing it yourself is simply inappropriate and dangerous.

Let someone who knows what he's doing (not simply a friend) take care of it for you.

The risk of infection is almost guaranteed. I saw a girl come into the ER one day with a black and green swollen nipple, with blood coming out of it. It was so swollen the nipple ring had to be surgically removed. She almost lost her nipple.

VERY DANGEROUS!!

Don't do it!! Risk of infection is EXTREMELY likely. Definitely definitely definitely have a professional piercer do it!
