I've heard that the ending to the Inuyasha anime is pretty disappointing, so the past answer could be right - I'm not sure, as I haven't seen it. All I know is that Kagura dies...She was my favorite character!

The manga continues the story on, though, and still hasn't ended, so you could read that - the ending will probably be completely different, and most likely much better. It'll probably give the story much better closure than the anime did.

It is true that the anime has ended but the manga is still going strong. The manga has seen several changes in both characters and situations since the chapters that the final anime episodes were based on were shown.

The anime has ended with the gang still looking for naruka. Very disappointing. But the manga is still going and I heard that one of the main characters is going to die. I read that in an anime magaizine.

No, the series hasn't ended yet.
The author (I forgot his name) said that he would try to make 500 chap. and he's, like, in the 200 and something, the only thing that has stopped was the anime, and he will do it as soon as he finish his manga. There's a web page, but I don't have it, it shows every week's manga made from him, hope that answer your question, bye...

I said that! They all ran off in hopes of getting Naraku. That was lame!
