I bought a pantsuit that I like very much, not realizing that it was 100% cotton. Every time it is laundered, it has to be ironed. Is there anything I can treat it with or maybe there's something else I can do to prevent this extra work. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, 100% cotton needs a bit of ironing to look its best. Taking it out of the dryer promptly, hand smoothing wrinkles and creases may reduce the amount of work, but chances are, you'll still have to press the suit.

One thing that you may try is to have it dry cleaned occasionally. Then wash on gentle cycle, and it may still look fresh and crisp for a few launderings, thus requiring less ironing.

There isn't anything available to consumers to make your clothes wrinkle-free. If they don't come that way, you'll just have to hang it up right away out of the dryer to minimize wrinkles, but it will still need to be ironed.

They sell sprays that are supposed to take the wrinkles out of clothes without ironing. Not sure how well they work, though.

DRY it all the way in the dryer instead of srying half way or tumbling.

Put it in the dryer for a few minutes.

try using fabric softeners and hang your pants after washing it in a way that creases won't form
