Because purfume, Dedrorent, and Colonge is very expensive in france. But he may be soo used to it!

They don't bathe like Americans do. Had one tell my mother, "that is the trouble with you Americans and Sicilians you bathe took much you wash all your strength away." When Mom got on her for hot bathing. We lived in Sicily at the time.
