You most likely do have a yeast infection. You need to see a doctor to get the right antibiotic. The cream you were using probably wasn't the correct one. You do need to remember to wipe front to back. Perhaps after this infection you will remember better. As for not drinking water, that you need to change also. The human body is made up primarily of water, and when it gets depleted, through urination, sweat, diarrhea, menstruation, etc. it can cause chemical imbalances, which can make your body go really haywire and you end up in the hospital on IV's. So drink water. Pop, and juices are ok in moderation, milk is good, but water also needs to be included in your diet.
Another thing to include in your diet is yogurt with cultured bacteria. By eating at least one small serving of yogurt, including the yummy flavored ones found in the dairy section of the grocery store, you can help rid your body of yeast infections and prevent them from recurring. As a diabetic, I used to get yeast infections all the time. I haven't had one in ages, as long as I continue to eat my yogurt.
If you are having a lot of yeast infections, get yourself checked out for diabetes as it is one of the signs of diabetes to have recurrent yeast infections.

Could be anything, including a yeast infection. You should really get checked out by a doctor. She can then prescribe medication that will get rid of the infection for good (well, at least longer than a few days!).
Why go to the doctor when you can buy stuff over-the-counter for yeast infections? I got recurring infections for years and years, and everyone - my friends, even my doctors - told me, based on the symptoms I told them, that it was yeast infections. I finally began to doubt that "diagnosis" and went to a new doctor when I had symptoms again, and it turned out to be urinary tract infections. Now I take a preventative medication and I haven't had any since! Different infections require different treatments, so you really need a doctor to diagnose you to know for sure what you have.

is there a white-ish like coating on your outer vagina area? if so, then it is probably a yeast infection. there are a few different things it could be, like trich, but it is probably a yeast infection.
btw- you should always wipe from your front to your back, because doing it the other way will spread bacteria to your front parts, and will cause infections.
if you go to the gyn, s/he will give you a pill you can take that will clear up the yeast infection in a day, with no messy creams.

Go to the doctor and get checked. It could be a yeast infection but it could also be a ph imbalance.
