Is there a way to heal his marriage and his behavior?

I dunno, the only thing that gets me is the way he acts and speaks around his children.
That stuff tonight about his father really clued you into his "suffering" I really think the guy is doing his best. I dont think its going to be a quick fix in a season or two of reality television. Infact, perhaps the show hurts because he does have that camera lens peaking over his shoulder. But he is trying....you have to pat him on the back for that.
The last episode I saw was his wife's hard rock show. I dont think that was alcohol he was buzzin' on though. I missed the baptism show.
