a player is considered t/best when he leads his team to t/ultimate victory,,,LT is no CZONKA, KICK, or MORRIS, these led their team to a season of undefeat,,LT will never lead s.d to that and thats what really counts,, by the way theres never been a backfield like t/3 headed monster,, nfl coaches need to learn how to run 3 backs if they r ever to contend for dolphin status. why LT has not even broken errick dickersons record,,,,,,come on.........

He's the best in the league. He'll get his trophy in a couple months. Nobody can beat the Chargers.

LT is considered the best because he is at this time. Czonka and Kick were amazing runners and did show the two headed monster. By the way they need to learn to run with the fullback again, but that's a different story. Mercury Morris was a receiver. LT just scored more TD's than anyone has in a season, including the 14 game schedule. He also hasnt gotten the bolts out of the playoffs. I am a big time dolphins fan and i would love to see football played the way it was meant to be like in 72.

First off, no one player takes a team to the super bowl. It's a team effort of players and coaches. A super bowl doesnt make you the best anyway. Look at Barry Sanders, no ring yet he's regarded as one of the best backs of all time.
As for the 72 Dolphins, just because they went undefeated doesn't make them the best team of all time. First off they may have had an easy schedule and secondly they only played 14 regular season games back then. If I remember right, I think the 85 Bears are regarded by the so-called football experts to be the best team of all time. I may be wrong though.
Lastly LT is only in his 6th season, a little early for him to be braking all of Dickerson's records, and he may not either. He's definitely on track to brake a lot of records. He has 2 already 29 TD's in a single season with 3 games left and fastest player to reach 100 TD's. If he continues this trend he'll easily be right up there with all the other great running backs. I personally think he's the best back playing right now. He has great vision, speed and cutting ability. His best quality overall is his humbleness and unselfishness. He's all about the team and winning the game, not personal achievements. Kinda like Barry Sanders and Walter Payton.

LT is a great player on the field and off the field.
Czonka was a jerk to people. He might of been great on the field but on the field he was nothing.
LT gives so much time to charity and is such a great role model.
He is no Danny Devito, Carmello Anthony, Ron Artest, Terrell Owens, or Tom Cruise.

Im with you on your standpoint of LT altho im not sure I would say Czonka is the best ever, LT is certainly not to his status yet, but a 3 back system will never ever work again, No NFL back will ever agree to sharing his carries with 2 other guys, its hard enough to get two of them to share let alone 3

Ok, the fact that you didn't EVEN MENTION Payton OR Jim Brown shows that you are either extremely biased, or just ignorant. LT has put together one of the most impressive (and most record breaking) performances EVER this year.

i agree. i dont think he's all that. i mean he's good but i wouldn't say he's the best.
people are always so quick to make judgements when someone does really good or really bad. you could be the best player in the league but if you play bad back to back weeks, the media will talk all this crap about them. and also, if you're a mediocre player in the league and you all of a sudden have 2 good weeks, now they're talking so highly of the player (tony romo).

that's a no brainer for me. this guy has character, skills, heart, and has what it takes to be a team leader. he continues to get better year after year. Lt will is no joke and will only continue to break records. by the way, san diego will win the superbowl this year.
