Hey. im going away in about a week.
Its Almost christmas. and i have many of family members. and because, my family lives poor, i cannot ask for money. and since its cold. i cant put up a lemonade stand, mow lawns or anything like that. my neighbors are stuck up. and hate my parents, so asking to help with decorations is out of the question. i am just a kid, so i cannot apply for a job. and my parents are over protective, so i cannot leave my neighbor hood, to work for other people. i live in a poor town, which means my friends are poor, and if theyre rich, they either 1.) need $$ for christmas shoppin or are 2.) self centered.
my grandparents ar dead. no money from them.
please help a 12 year old kid out!

put a very nice poem or letter to your family and friends in each card and they will treasure that gift always.
I would also talk to your parents about your concerns about not being able to buy gifts - I'm sure they'll tell you that gifts aren't what Christmas is about -

also try freecycle.com in your town - ask your parents to become a member - you must give something for free first and on it and then you can receive something in return - on and on - a lot of people are giving away holiday items -
you could also have a concert for your family and friends and sing them some christmas carols - or tell funny christmasy jokes ...
just listen to your heart - and you'll think of creative inexpensive things you can do for your family and friends -

make a hot chocolate stand. I'm 12 too, and I tried it and got HUGE $$$. When a nice looking grown-up or old lady comes near, say theyre 25 cents a cup, and have a cup in front that has only a couple quarters in it. They feel sry for u, and will give u like, 10 bucks. Im serious. If a kid comes near, say theyre a dollar.

How about making a coupon book?
I know it is really corney- but it could not be cheaper.
Just make coupons for your family members that are good for shoveling the driveway, helping with dishes, raking, cleaning your room...
for younger siblings it could be a coupon to read a story or play a game-
for older siblings your make coupons to "take a chore"- or to be funny make a coupon that says you will stay out of "The way for 1/2 a day".....
By the way- if anyone tells you to "invest money" report a spam. HOW silly!

You could sell things on the ebay. You must sell something that may be usefull to other this will make your things better in prices

ooh i'm in ur same situation,claire.and i'm 12 too.ppl say i'm too young to buy xmas gifts for ppl,thats not true,don't listen!hi my names safira.and hot chocolate and apple cider stands are great.i would do one but i'm afraid nobody(especially my neighbors-i hate them)will buy anything and idk how to make a stand.you can also make crafts and sell them.you can also rake ppls leafs.thats what i'm gonna do-i think lol.well anyway,theres my ideas.srry if i could'nt help ya much.heh email me at moondoggie6940 if ya wanna be friends,good luck to ya!
