What happens if I don't tell current school that I went to college for 2 semesters back in '89?

My old GPA is 1.44. You must have a 3.7-4.0 to be admitted to my local nursing programs. I will never be able to pull up my GPA to be admitted to a nursing program. I feel really bad about it. It's just too bad that 4 months out of my life when I was 18 means I can never have the chance to be a nurse. Thanks for all your advice.

You have to. it's required on your application. If they find out you lied, they will not be impressed. I personally wouldn't worry about the two semesters back in '89. Even if you did poorly, most schools will recognize that it was ages ago and doesn't necessarily represent who you are today. Make sure you write agreat statement of purpose.

It's possible you'll get away with it, but if they ever find out you lived you'll lose whatever degree you earned and get an enormous fine. You'll also probbly lose any job you got with the degree and could even go to jail.

Just be honest with them and if you got a low grade they'll work with you to elimate the courses from your GPA.

At this point, those classes do not matter because you waited too late to finish that program. You only have a certain amount of time to finish coursework before you have to start over. So they dont count now.

They can do a search by your social security number and name and find out...
