what do people ask when they turn in job applications? ask to speak to the manager then what do they say to the manager?(not applying for like a CEO position or anything...) any tips would help.

just be polite and be appropriately dressed when you turn it in. Chances are you are turning it in to a fellow worker bee. It's rare that the manager will talk to you on the spot, especially if you are there at their busy time (like lunch time if applying to a restaurant, for instance).

regardless of the place you interview or turn in an application, never gown informal. thinking the jobs/agencies you're using for you'll be able to desire to wreck out with an impressive pair of slacks, gown slacks/pants (black, army, tan), sparkling/easy/stable button up shirt or shirt; sparkling closed toe/back gown shoes; easy if any rings and make up.
