I used to think it was okay. And it is better than it used to be sense they're using the uncut version nowadays. But, seriously, I really do think that the series is stupid and violent for the sake of drawing in little kids and attract them to meaningless violence from the land of Japan where censoring doesn't exist.

This is gonna sound retarded, but I'm not, at least my mom says so :)). DBZ was, is, and will be my favorite anime ever! Some say it's full of violence, and that's true, but people that are addicted to violence watch it and some of goku's qualities rub of on them. In the series you find out that even the worse people can change, such as vegeta who's only passion was to destroy planets, in the ending he is shown going to dinner with his friends. It's a love story to. The love that exists between goku and chichi is very powerful, it's possible it's stronger than goku in super sayian 3(I didn't like that much DBGT). In any case I just want to say that I learned how to be a giving man, not to expect nothing in return and to have faith in each and every person. In 30-40 or more years from now if you ask me who is goku, promise I'll know the answer! ^_^

used to be one of my favourite anime ever when i was 17 and 18. But since naruto and bleach has taken it's place, ppl tend to forget about dbz already

Man I use to watch that show ..& then I started to get confused..I started missin ep. and Then When I came back 3 people died 5 people came back & some one got hair finally !!!

I like the older shows, but once it getsa past the cell saga, it gets kind of irritating b/c it's really so predictable. Plus, I liked Gohan better in the cell saga. ^_^

For cartoon, it talk to much until hundred episode.
For comic, only 40 something episode.
I prefer comic.
