The guys seems unstoppable. Is he a better all-around player (rushing and receiving) than Marshall Faulk was?

No.

He is certainly the best in the league right now, but he hasnt played this well for enough years to even be in consideration for best ever, when he retires he may well be but not now.

and.. for the second coming of marshall faulk, look no farther than Reggie Bush, in case you havent noticed the saints recreated the greatest show on turf in New Orleans. Although I must admit LT is by far a better rusher than both of those two, my vote for the best receiver of the three goes to Reggie.

And Walter Payton is not the best ever, sorry, hes top 5 but Barry is the most talented and Emmitt isnt far behind and had the most productive career

I'll agree he's better than Marshall Faulk, but I wouldn't give him the title of Best RB ever

I TOTALLY agree with smoov-e. Sanders is the best of all time! Played 10 seasons with a dirt shite team with no O-line. If had played with the Cowboys instead and played 14 or 15 yrs, he'd be light years ahead of everyone else!

LT is'nt the best, yet anyway. But he's exciting to watch. I haven't enjoyed watching a running back since Terrel Davis retired. If he keeps going at this rate, he'll be up there with the best.

Yes, he's better than Faulk...but no, he's not the best RB ever.

Jim Brown is not only the best running back of all time, he's the best football player period, at any position.

not yet its too soon to declare him the best , possibly on his way. Barry Sanders was the best RB ever, he retired after having his best season ever, had no offensive line whatso ever, while walter payton at 16,726 played 13 seasons and emmitt smith at 18,355 played 15. Barry only 10 with no support , he probaly would have had 20,000 if he had emmitt smiths o-line, or stuck around as long as he did.

Better than Faulk, but not the best ever...yet I would have to say the best ever was either Barry Sanders or Jim Brown.
