It is customary to add an s to the end of a verb if its subject is singular.

Christmas, or X-Mas is considered a singular, formal noun.

Therefore the verb To Excite would be modified to Excites for the third-person singluar and then shortened to Xcites.

correct answer:

Christmas excites me.

Reason: Christmas is about Christ - not X.

You would be excited too, if you knew how much Christ loves you, and wold never put in another X in his name's place.
